First of all hello everyone. I am new to the site and have a question for those of you in the know. I have a 1995 two tone Rolex Submariner with the Blue Face. Recently the pearl fell out of the Bezel after being banged against something. I made a decision to send it to a non authorized dealer to have it fixed. The watch looks great but has left me wondering how can I be sure the bezel is a genuine rolex part? I asked and was told it was, but I have some doubts because on the new bezel it appears the pearl is not perfectly centered in the triangle? Any way to tell for sure besides brining it to a AD now to have it looked at? Thanks for the info.

If the Blue Sub is like the SS Sub, one way to tell is the lume of the dot/marker on the bezel. Real bezel markers glow and the aftermarket black inset that came with my LV does not glow at all. Just a thought.

They sell just the marker. Did they change the whole bezel just to replace the marker??

Yes the entire thing was replaced. It does glow after it has been under light. The old one seemed to stop glowing, the new one glows quite brightly after it has been in light.

If the Bezel was in fact replaced with an aftermarket bezel will I still be able to send this watch to a rolex service center and have them fix this for me? Also do some of the 2 tone watches have silver numbers on the Bezel. The Bezel on my 2 tone is now blue with silver numbers. I dont think I will ever use a non authorized rolex sc again.
