I’m not much for TT anything, but my preference would be the sub. Although that blue racing Daytona dial is sweet. What else you have in your collection, if any?

Both are great looking pieces! Buy the one you’ll enjoy looking at the most!
Most all Rolex rise in value if you give it long enough. |

I can't comment on the daytona but the sub 116613LB is at a good/fair price if you check chrono24 for comparison.
It is hard to comment on price speculations. But in my opinion, neither will rise or drop in value too much. Their performance in price will probably be sideways which isn't a bad thing. Most of us in this forum aren't looking to make a quick buck, but are happy if they at least hold their value since we rather just enjoy the watch on our wrist. |

That is impossible to know. Remember the adage that past performance does not predict future behavior.
Daytonas have done well in the past but Subs might - might - do well in the future, or the Daytona may continue to appreciate well. No one knows. |

That is a tough choice. I would just get them both - wear them for several months and then decide. Then you can sell the one you do not want for a profit! That is the beauty of this hobby. You can change your mind and break even - or better!

The blue racing dial, 2-tone Daytona is gorgeous. But I can understand wanting the 2-tone Sub w/blue dial as well.

The TTSub gets more love here in general I would say, and probably for good reason.
Which do you prefer? |

That was the correct decision
I got a bluesy on a whim and it’s turning out to by one of my most favoured pieces - completely unexpectedly Perfect weekend watch
