Grand Seiko SBGF021 High Accuracy Quartz

Grand Seiko SBGF021 High Accuracy Quartz

Great opportunity to get into Grand Seiko and/or High end quartz!

History: purchased this beauty pre-owned directly from a Japanese store. The serial number indicates it was manufactured on October 2001. I have calibrated and checked the time with an atomic clock online and the movement is at 10 secs/year. I am very careful with my watches, this watch has never been immersed in water and always kept in a case.

Specs: powered by the thermocompensated cal 8J56, IMO this watch beats the current 9F series in practical terms. Hour can be set independently which makes it very convenient during travel, screw down crown, screw down, 200M WR, battery lasts 5 years. Accuracy +/- 10 seconds/year. Sapphire crystal with AR on the underside. Case Diameter is 37mm and just 10mm thick. Bracelet with solid end links, 19mm lug width.

Condition: I do my best to describe it but please see the attached photographs. Case and bracelet have very few swirls. There is a a very tiny nick on the outer edge of the bezel at the 29 min marker is hard to see in the pics. Dial shows the stunning tatami pattern in some angles. Lume works great. Hands are perfect. The clasp works perfectly. The bracelet comes with all links including 2 half links (important for a perfect fit), fits up to a 7.5 inch wrist. The second hand does not hit all the second markers spot on, there is a tiny misalignment, I contacted Grand Seiko directly and they said this is normal but I wanted to disclose it.

Includes: Watch with original bracelet. I will include the receipt from the Japanese store where I purchased it as well as a Grand Seiko Brochure. No Box or papers, but this should not be a deal breaker, GS are not faked.

PRICE: $1099 net to me (includes shipping to most US states).
********NOT interested in trades*********

References: I have sold a few Tudor subs here on TRF. On WUS I have dealt with Glossman, Strappedwatchco, ronr9286t, etc. Transactions around from $2k to over $4K. On eBay, I am camilos_garage with plenty of solid feedback.
