Mens 18K Rolex Yachtmaster w/ Mother of Pearl & Rubys

Hi Guys,

Could I get a check on this one, Something doesn't look right, it could be the dark hands that are usually gold, the contrast on the MOP dial looks strange, same with the ruby surrounds, also the general finish of the gold on the watch seems to be a bit how can I say it... rough around the edges, please excuse if all is ok :-)

Like I said, please excuse if all is fine, just caught my eye and comparing to quite a few stock photos floating around doesn't look right.

Cheers,

Dave.

Very good point and looks very unusual with the black hands... The watch looks authentic, though.

Just for continued discussion...

I saw the listing below which shows that pictures from a specific angle appears that the hands are black. I am NOT saying that is the case with this MOP dial..

But it is interesting!

Sorry for the delay, TGT some very good points and I have to admit this watch is looking good, periodically looked at a range of photos today and it seems the angle on the listing is just right for the hands to look dark. the gold looks fine on the watch to, just a little used so there are dings here and there.

Thanks again for your help

Dave

Those hands should be yellow gold. Could be a reflection, but I don't think so.

Looking at the documentation I would say that the watch is real, the hands look different than anything I have ever seen on a Yacht Master though, that does not mean it is fake. I would let the sale go through.
