Two Grand Seikos from two different Era
I love this kind of modern / vintage pairing shot. In this case, this two watches are separate by 60 years.
The one on the left is the modern SBGA407 equipped with a Springdrive movement and Grand Seiko's signature snowflake dial, except it's render in sky blue. The one on the right is a vintage piece, the very first Grand Seiko release all the way back in 1960. Despite the obvious size difference ( 40 vs 35mm ), one can tell the DNA and design element like the applied indices and the sword hands, still inspired and endured to this day in modern GS. I thought this is cool and just want to share it. P/S : Yup, the SBGA407 is a new incoming. My 5th GS.

Just over half a century between these two: July 2017 and April 1967.
