Rolex oyster royal 1945
Hi Guys,I have been trying to identify this 1945 Rolex Oyster Royal. I have been trawling all the sites with similar watches but none of them have the same no. 4 on the dial? I was told its the reference 4444 but the No.4 numeral on the dials of that reference have a flat top and on my Rolex the 4 is curved all the way from top right to the horizontal bar of the 4. Does anyone know why this dial? |

There were many dial variations in those days. Maybe that one was a template for dealer stamp dials, as it shows an Irish dealer on the dial.
