Incoming: 5-digit love

I've owned three different ceramic Submariners over the years (and some GMTs), but I've recently had the itch to give a 5-digit Sub a try. We all know how it goes: an idea turns into research, research turns into want, want turns into the hunt, and the hunt eventually leads to an incoming

Now that it's here I can actually say I like it way more than I thought I would. The case shape and lack of bling compared to my ceramic models (BLNR and LVc) is a nice change of pace. I can see how some people even prefer it over the current line-up. I think I've found my new daily

Nice one. I think the 5 digits are great and went through the same thing you have. Now a 16710 is my daily and I wouldn’t change it for a thing.

Enjoy. It looks great.

Awesome watch! I have a 5 digit GMT II Coke and I would give up all of my 6 digits before I gave the 5 digit up!

Beautiful Sub & great photo too. I myself started with a 6 digit sub but eventually sold it to transition to the 5 digit models. Can’t beat the earlier models.

Congrats! Went through a similar path, moving from a 116710 to a 16570. Love how much thinner and smaller the 5-digits are.

I agree with you. I recently thought about upgrading my 14060 to a more modern version.
So I tried wearing them back to back for about a week and eventually decided against the "upgrade".

Beautiful picture, excellent watch, perfect fit for your wrist. The 5 digit subs are just so nicely proportioned ...

One of if not the most bulletproof, best all around, go anywhere, do anything watches made. I prefer it over its 6 digit counterpart. Congratulations and enjoy
