Happy birthday Dad! Here's bluesy!

Well, Dad is the proud owner of one beautiful Bluesy

We gave him the Movado as a distraction. He opened it with a funny look on his face and said oh, this is a nice classy watch.

I pulled out Bluesy and said "well, then I guess you don't want this!"

He looked like his heart stopped! He didn't believe it was used until I showed him the papers showing someone else had purchased it.

He is so happy. He's running around looking at it in different light and trying to figure out when he should and shouldn't wear it.

I'll post pics in a moment He LOVES it!

Thanks again Buz

PS - He later said he was disappointed when he saw the Movado

He has been having some health issues and has been feeling depressed waiting for his doctor to call him with some test results.

He just said that he had forgotten he was waiting to hear from the doctor for a moment. Awwww!

Wow, what a great gift, he must be very happy! I'd love to do the same for my dad, his favorite watch is the blue TT Submariner also! Hopefully, in a year or so, I'll be able to buy him one.

Great stuff Jen!

The look on his face must have been priceless!

I look forward to seeing the pics and I hope all is well with the results.

Is it permanently strapped to his wrist at the moment?

Please wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Regards

Si

What a great story, Jen. I wish to be able to do the same for my dad in the near future. My dad has his eye on a watch, but I know he will never buy it. He is retiring in a couple months and I am thinking of buying it for him. Luckily for me it is not a Rolex(he is still a TAG man...no matter how many times I try to turn him on to Omega or Rolex), so it may be doable.
Congrats to your Dad and Happy Birthday!

Hi Jen!! I´m so glad to know that the time arrived, and now your Dad owns Bluesy!
You surelly will never forget this moment and surprise, and your Dad will be reminded this event everytime he looks at his new watch.
(And I suspect he will be doing this very often each day!!)
Happy Birthday!!
Enjoy your Dad and your Rolex passion in good health Jen!
Very cordially, Abel
