Does rolex ruin your dress shirt cuffs? Any tips?

If it does then the shirt is probably already destined for the trash. My shirts end up being slowly wrecked by sweat stains way before the cotton even remotely wears out.

I starch my long sleeve shirts so I'm more worried about my shirt cuffs abrading my watches rather than vice versa. But my cuffs have plenty of room around them so I have never had either issue yet.

An OP with properly sized cuffs..of course not.

You need to have your shirts custom made. They’ll ask what size watch you wear, and then they’ll add the extra diameter to the cuff to accommodate the thickness of the watch.

When you wear a dress shirt you should be wearing a slim Dress Watch

If your daddy omitted to teach you that social life lesson and you go out wearing a chunky oversized dive watch... many of those are meant to be strapped on outside your wetsuit sleeve.

I suppose, but wear a proper watch and move the cuff button a half inch and eliminate the need. I appreciate nice custom stuff but going to that extent for shirts is not realistic or even remotely necessary for most .

No, but I only wear high quality shirts. Not that my shirts last forever, I rip them apart in other places, much to the displeasure of my wife.

I’ve never had a watch ruin a shirt cuff but I have had my wife’s jewelry cause some watch damage though

I have all of my shirts custom made but do still have wear from my watches. Generally the bezel of my sub or GMT. I also get fraying in my suit pants from putting my hands in my pocket.

It takes several years for it to get to this point though and I generally use that as a sign that it is time to retire the shirt.
