Range of watch sizes you wear

I predominantly wear two Rolex watches. One is my daily watch (for the most part) and the other is my weekend watch. The range in the size between the two is sizeable. My daily is a 34 mm Air King, while my weekend watch is a 43 mm Sea Dweller. I wonder if anyone else wears watches that are so different in size on the regular?

The only time that either feels strange is when I swap one for the other, but that only last for a short while.

Peter

36 DD and a 42 seiko diver, but to me the width is main noticeable difference.

I can wear anything from 36mm - 46mm... With that said I never tried anything outside that range but I feel anything larger would look silly on me as I don't have large wrists.

38.5mm Daytona, up to a 42mm Seiko Diver

I'd be fine with both a DJ36 and a DSSD though!

My two are 41.5 and 40mm so it is not an issue switching between them for me at least

6.5in wrist. Size range from 34mm, 36mm, 40mm, 41mm. I think lug to lug length is more significant

I go from a 34mm ‘60s vintage Omega Seamaster to a 44mm Sea-Dweller. I am strongly considering a 45.5 mm Omega Planet Ocean Chrono as well.

36mm dress watch up to 44mm JC DSSD, and quite a few in between.

The lug-to-lug distance, case shape, and lug design makes so much difference to how a watch wears that is it impossible to compare on a single size measurement alone.

All that said, I do lean towards the smaller half of the range for work (suits, business attire) and larger for casual (shorts, jeans).

I don't think I would go any larger than 44mm; however, I might go slightly smaller to 34mm for the right watch.

In the end, it's a matter of what you enjoy. I think for most of us, that can be a pretty big range.

Also dial colour and visible dial area is a factor

I think the smallest watch I wear is 39mm and the largest is 47mm. I have wrists that hover right around 8".

40 to 52 mm. Smallest is a 5513 sub and largest is a Bvlgari 52 mm endurer, the 47 mm Panerai where the same as the YMII.

I have purchased 36mm to 44mm. I tend to wear only 42mm. Anything smaller looks too small, any bigger looks too big. sadly I’m less picky about buying than wearing.

The largest watch I have owned was a 44mm PAM which Was paired with a 40mm GMT Master II. After I bought my 40mm ultra thin VC Patrimony and 39mm Patek annual calendar, the PAM felt too big so I sold it off for my 39mm AP Jumbo. Currently I have:

39mm PP AC
39mm AP Jumbo
40mm VC Patrimony
40mm GMTII
40mm SubmarinerC
42mm Speedmaster Professional

I don’t see myself adding anything else outside of this range as it seems to be my comfort zone.
