Winfield Watch Rotating Bezel numbers

I got happen to see this Winfield divers watch but an confused why the rotating bezel numbers are not like other diver watch. 5,10,15 ect.. this bezel starts with 55 at the 1 o'clock position. Why.. btw, I don't own a diver..

Never seen that before either
Looks like a count down timer from an hour, instead of a time elapsed timer from a dive watch |

This is not unusual, my Breitling Emergency Mission has the same bezel, counting down. Maybe coincidence, both watches called Mission.
