Will Rolex change 116500 dial with service?

I am just wondering if rolex will do a dial change on my 116500LN black dial to a white dial with a full service and extra charge?. Not trying to profit over it or anything as I know the white is more popular but it seems like the white is much easier to read the time than the black for me. The warranty card does not state the color of the dial. Anyone had experience in doing this? I have searched forums but only finding contradicting answers :/

No. Your warranty card in NZ must be different from the US, because here it does state the dial color.

Source: I've asked RSC about it and was definitively told no. Call and ask yourself.

I'm not sure about the current Daytona and I can't speak to current practice in both Singapore and NZ, but for the previous model (pre-ceramic bezel), I changed dial color twice at Rolex in Singapore when I sent the watch in for service - from the original white to black, then back to white.

This was over the course of the 8 years that I owned that model.

I did the same with the Explorer 2 - changed the dial from white to black.

On each occasion, they kept the old dial.

I have just serviced my Datejust 41mm and changed the dial from silver with stick markers to dark blue with stick markers.

Best to visit them in person and find out yourself what is allowed in your part of the world.
