Incoming...26315ST Chrono

I decided to pull the trigger on this one. I was a bit hesitant on the 38mm case size, but honestly it’s perfect and does seem to wear a bit larger than assumed. For reference, I have a 6.5” wrist size so I can understand how this size isn’t for everyone.

What I know already is the Daytona is going to be on the winder a lot more now :-)

I am loving this watch. Nearly a 7 1/4" wrist for me and I still think I would go with this over the 41. Great choice. Great watch.

I have the 41 with the reverse dial, and am seriously considering putting my name down for the one you have as it is quite an attractive piece. Congrats!

Thanks All!

I knew this well before I bought the watch, but I still am a bit stuck on the placement of the date window. I don't mind that it is between the 4 and 5 markers, but does anybody know why it is not centered between these markers??

That's the part that distracts me...it almost seems like it was just haphazardly put there and I cannot think of any rationale as to why it is where it is. Does anybody have any insight?

I remember reading somewhere that it is because they increased the size of the sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock and therefore the date window got pushed to this off-centre position...

These are just quick and dirty. Make no mistake I love both, but the AP just might eek out a head-to-head battle.

the AP looks 10x better than the Daytona, which is a pretty boring dial tbh

Awesome. Do you have all links in and it’s a little large?

Funny, I was thinking just the opposite.

The AP definitely contains a smaller link set. I only have 1 link removed on the 26315, which I have 3 removed on my 15500.

The Daytona has 2 links removed, but there’s much more flexibility with the micro-adjusting bracelet.
