"wrist presence"

i've seen threads on wrist presence, and when it comes down to it, doesnt this mean "noticeable" - to you or to others. For example, a YG sub may have more wrist presence than a SS sub.

I presume that there is a reason one would want to have a watch that creates notice, or that wants to be an important part of one's ensemble.

"wrist presence" - i assume that this is desirable based on one's personality. For example, i dont think a calatrava is intended to have much wrist presence, but a richard mille is quite the opposite.

What do you look for in wrist presence, and when do you choose a timepiece where this presence is desired?
