Tumi Backpacks
I travel often and looking for any feedback on Tumi backpacks for day trips? Has anyone purchased the "Nellis 2019", this year it's called the "Nathan 2020" I believe. The only difference besides paying 270. vs 475.respectively is the Nathan expands a bit.
Any long time owners that can share??? The luggage thread spurred this one. |

Don!!! Buddy!!! Self admitted Tumi addict here. I have two backpacks, both the Alpha 2 T-Pass. One leather and one ballistic nylon. LOVE THEM BOTH. All I can say is you won’t go wrong with a Tumi.

Bought a Alpha 2 Backpack 2 year ago. Same one in Paul’s pic. It was expensive even on-sale from amazon but it's awesome. Worth every dollar.
Also, picked up the matching Alpha 2 folding hanger suitcase that is carry-on sized. Also a great product. the backpack also slides onto the case's pull handle for a secure stacked fit. |

Tumi backpacks are solid but, keep in mind they're also potential thief and robbery magnets.
And ever since I retired my Tumis I also haven't paid retail for any flight upgrades. |

I like that one a lot! It is great for day trips. You may want a bigger one too for traveling.

It’s pretty much waterproof. Never had any moisture getting into the back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
