Fake? 6426
Hi there, I thought I'd ask here first.. Just picked up a '85 6426 that I'm really excited about. Super clean, thick lugs. Got it from a dealer through Chrono24 whom I hadn't purchased from previously but they have a ton of positive reviews. And I just noticed (you're about to see some of my OCD) that the 'O' in 'Oyster' looks narrower than I've seen on other models/examples.
To those who know more than me, Have I got something to worry about? I attached some pictures, of course, but didn't post a movement shot.. but it appears (to my untrained eye) to have the correct 1225 movement. Also, were these manual Oyster Precisions hacking? I thought they were, and mine isn't. Again, something to worry about? THANKS. |
