FS: 1962 Rolex Submariner 5512 with Gilt 4 Line Dial

Description: This watch is an exploration of excess in the simplest package. It has everything you need and everything you didn't know you needed. The 4 line gilt chapter ring Swiss only dial is lightly fading to a tropical hue. The glossy surface of the dial is lightly spotting with age and starting to turn brown especially around the edge of the dial. The luminous material on the dial is lightly chipped and is fading to a beautiful deep orange hue. The newer hands drop off a little faster under UV light. The period correct fat font bezel is fading to a purple navy hue. The Swiss rivet bracelet is stamped 1 62 and has been refurbished to an almost new condition with no stretch from wear. The case has been polished along the original bevel lines and retains a thick and even look. Beautiful gilt chapter ring 5512 dials don't come up often especially in the 4 line variation. Like a fully optioned car, it has more features than you will know what to do with.
