Is this dial aftermarket?

I've been looking at the 42mm rubber clad recently and came across this. I assume this is some sort of aftermarket dial and not a rare version I haven't read about?

Seller is a large and legit source of used watches who also has a more standard looking one with the lumed numbers, but this one stood out as unusual.

Look like they replaced the original dial with the old Safari dial, I would stay away if it doesnt have the original papers as it could be a franken build.

I think you might be right. It says it has box and papers but the model number is identical to the other watch they have, picture below, which I believe is the original look and the one I actually prefer.

I'm not looking to purchase either of these specific examples but it just stood out as odd and I wanted to ask for my knowledge.

Yes I think that might be the Safari cream dial, doesn't look like a great fit over the date window either.

Yep. Wrong dial. I had the silver 25940. I’d pass.

+1 That's the first thing I noticed.

That appears to be more of a parallax issue as opposed to a fitment issue. It's not a straight head on picture.
