I haven’t done an unboxing in quite some time. I was surprised by how much I like this one so thought it was worth a post.

For those wondering, yes I’m still obsessed with PM but I have a few steel Rolex. I have the 116600, 126600, 116660, and now this 126660. I’ll have to take a SD family picture at some point. Despite the size, it wears very comfortably on the wrist (6.5”) - I think because it hugs the wrist very well. I just removed the diving extension and kept the rest of the links on. Honestly, this is the most useless tool watch as the 116600 is better suited for every activity I could imagine. However it’s quite a looker whereas the 116600 can get lost in a sea of submariners. Without a doubt this 126660 has the most nuanced dial. Maybe that’s why I like it so. Thanks for reading.

Congrats...however, I'm partial to your 116600. IMO, the best modern dive watch Rolex made.

I quite agree. The 40mm is what I wear when I don’t care what’s on my wrist but need a watch.

Congratulations Mike it’s such a beauty

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on how it wears compared to your 116660. Do you think there’s a noticeable difference?

I always appreciate hearing your insights

Very nice. Congratulations. Really, really tempted to get one.

Did the tool/pusher come with the set? Or did you order that separately?

Congrats! Doesn't look that crazy on your wrist and we have the same size wrists. When I tried it on it looked ridiculous but I guess once you size it it's not too bad.

Enjoy in good health!

These are my own screwdrivers. Hollow ground tips in a generic holder. The large holder body gives me a little more torque on the screws and better control of the tip.

Long time no see, Mike! Congrats on the new DSSD, I’ve wanted that one for a long time.

So - every steel Rolex you own says Sea Dweller on the dial? That’s awesome.

Congrats, great new watch to complement an awesome Sea-Dweller collection. I have a similar lineup, and the DSSD is something special.
