Friday afternoon...90 degrees

In all the craziness of global pandemics and riots in the streets, let’s remember that life is good. Happy Juneteenth. The freedom of all people is worth reflecting on in the same way that this Black Bay reflects the sun.

Just thought I’d leave this here. Not a post about “what should I buy?” Not a post about “I don’t like big lugs”. Not a post about “my AD told me it would take 700 years for me to get a BLRO”.

Just a post for all of us to be thankful for what we have. For you Fathers out there, I hope you have a terrific weekend and a very Happy Fathers Day!

That’s because there’s no whining about prices / availability / future price trends/ Rolex> Tudor snobs etc

Such a shame as there are so many brilliant things about his forum eg: the guy from Romania( I think) who does amazing macro photography, the bloke from Wales with the long funny town name who is a Rolex Wikipedia, Bas the watch maker dude, each and every person who is not obsessed with material rubbish and wants to tell their story, experience whether it be a Seiko or a Patel..long live them!

Wow way to bring the negativity troll. I guess every single thread needs a million replies to be relevant. Get over it.

To the OP some things are said so well that nothing is added. I am sorry that this troll has ruined it.

Stay healthy and happy friends. If your life has room for a passion such as watches then it’s important to remember how good we have it. Love the good summer gratitude vibe!

Take it easy, brother. Up here in Alaska, life is good, the weather is warm, 65 degrees, the mountains are green, and the fish are jumping. I saw three moose today and a bear, the river was strong, and the air was fresh.

Haha. Excellent!! Thanks for the pic. They are amazing animals. HUGE. I only saw one once in person and was fairly close to it. Couldn’t believe the size. Watching “Rocky and Bullwinkle” as a kid did not really properly convey the size of these animals to me.

Enjoy!
