Allman Brothers Band
I am not a fan of many instrumentals, but “Jessica” may be the best ever, imo.
Anyone like any instrumentals? |

I’m a big fan if they are part of a song or weaved into the music, so to speak.
A band that really excels is AC/DC. On the harder side, but Angus is a blues musician at heart and he plays it well. |

I miss Duane Allman more than I miss being 10 years old.

Speaking of Duane Allman, am I the only person who prefers Larry Carlton's instrumental version of Layla to Clapton's original?

Brian Setzer doing Sleepwalk live in Japan is another favourite. That concert DVD is the reason I bought my first DVD player 20 years ago.

Neither am I, but Jessica as you say really hits all the right notes and as you say one of the very best. But Xenon mentioned and some of the others mentioned here do as well.

Always been a fan of instrumentals. My first band would open & close every set with one.

Any of you Allman Brothers fans have any love for Les Bres in A Minor? I just listened to it the other day and forgot how great that song is.

Bolero - Maurice Ravel
Of course it could have a lot to do with what I was watching at the time I first heard this little ditty.
