Amazing dinner last night!
Looking around to get a bite to eat, I see this place called Hubert.
I’m up for something different, let’s have a look. Go down a set of stairs we come across a small lobby. Down another set of stairs And I’m greeted with this scene- Wow, what a great atmosphere, place is packed, live jazz band playing! Ask for a table... “Sir, what name did you book under”, uhmm no booking :( , is there nothing available? “Only the private room”, ok I’ll take it! |

Anyway here we are, I’m starving!
Order a bottle of wine, the atmosphere is great, can still hear the band playing :yup: I Start ordering... Organic Bread Co baguette, butter Man that’s the best bread I’ve ever tasted, and that butter encrusted with salt... yum Next up let’s have the Duck Pate! Duck Parfait Liver mousse, maple syrup jelly Jeez that’s sooo good to spread on the bread. Order some oysters- Oysters Natural Sydney Rock Oysters, eschalot, black pepper vinaigrette |

Chicken Fricassée
Hubert’s whole chicken, bread sauce, green garlic And then desert Crème Caramel Egg custard, bitter caramel Fantastic place and food, the google reviews weren't lying This place is going in my rotation :P , so long as covid cases don't increase! |
