SD or Blk LV

Slight variation to recent threads as it pertains to me, which would you choose for daily wear and why?

Currently I wear a Y serial SD, with lug holes ( prefer ) probally 90% of the time, others to mix it up are a 16700 and an old tudor sub..

I REALLY like the maxi dial, not so keen on the green, thus it would be changed to blk, My SD or GMT would have to go, I am thinking the SD because of the similar look to a sub..

Pros for me, the SD

no cyclops, clean looking dial with date
Lug holes

My only con would be a little floppy on the wrist, weight can be a little combersome for me in the warmer months, ususlly solved by switching to a nato or rubber strap.

Pros for LV

a little versatility, green or blk
Maxi dial and hr hand
slightly larger dial
a little lighter on the wirst

only cons would be it's not meant to be blk, and cyclops..

I don't particularly care for the LV and I do love the GMT so I would stand pat.

Personally I'd go for the LV, unlike yourself I really like & need the cyclops, I'd definitely hang on to the 16700 though

Tough one, I love them both. I have always loved the SD and I used to think that I could not wear a LV until I actually put one on my wrist and realised how great they really were. The LV was always one of those watches that I would see pics of and see in my local AD's and I always thought they were cool, but once I actually tried one one it completely changed my outlook on them, they look fantastic on your wrist. I see all your points, and I agree, but if you already have a SD then the LV would make a excellent addition, but I would not part with your SD to obtain one. Best of luck with your decision.

yes a tough choice indeed. Personally the sub has always felt a little lighter due to a slicker case. I feel that the SD's weight is just right for me as I have no use for the cyclops but the maxi dial on the lv is a must have now I am just as confused as you.
