Some kind of photoshop, 'cause where is the damn engine. Have flown a lot of Diamond Star planes, and that is as close to soaring I have been. When flying and I hear nothing but the wind, I tend to pucker up a bit. Great pic and how long you been flying?

Flying without an engine since 1984!
Power plane tows me up to 2000ft then I soar using air currents thermals etc. Have flown for nearly 7 hours and climbed to 14,000 ft. Im considering the GMT Ceramic but its a bit expensive. thks Soarhead |

Why am I not surprised with your answer. Kind of like my sail boat buddies who poke fun at me when I tell them, if it ain't loud, it ain't fast. Never flown in a glider, but I hear the lack of noise is wonderful. I am a CFI in the states and just have not been around gliders. Now, don't try to get me hooked. I assume you own your bird?
