AD Event Today

I attended a client event at my AD today. Just wanted to share some pictures of the new models. My SA had an OP 41 Turqoise on hold for me, but I’m not quite sure I loved it.

All that interested me was the SkyD but great pics. Thanks for sharing and confirming what I already thought.

I wasn’t expecting the Skydweller to be as stunning as it was. By far my favorite of the bunch.

Great photos, though I agree, I don’t know if I could wear a turquoise watch on a daily basis. Maybe bittersweet, being able to see all the new references, then knowing about the wait to acquire one. I think it’s a great idea from the AD’s perspective, allowing clients to see the new pieces in person.

On OP 41, I think Turquoise blue and Green dial look gorgeous. If you like it, better get it soon, it will be harder to get it later.

Out of all that the OP silver dial stood out to me. That's the model I'm after.

The Kermit really looks.. Kinda childish/cheap? Out of context it seems a bit corny. It's one of those watches you have to explain to everyone that asks (nobody would) that the green bezel is more sought after by watch enthusiasts and that's why you paid $27k for a SS Sub

I didn’t like the turqoise too much when I saw it a couple of weeks but it grew on me as did the red. My dealer has already moved a few OP’s and expects more in each shipment. I asked last week for a red, yellow, turquoise, or green depending on what comes in first.

I love that turquoise in every picture I have seen, dying to check it out in person!

I wish we could get some of these funky colors on some other references, like they had back in the day on the DD.

Damn I've had no luck getting an OP turquoise 41, let me know if you decide not to take it and feel like passing it on!

I hope the OP he had on hold for you wasn’t the one in the photo.

The SkyD is out of my range for now, but definitely something to work towards.

Great pics, thanks for reporting. I’m loving the new models, pretty much all of them. What will you go for?

It was in the Chicago suburbs. They did have some of the new releases available. I believe mostly for clients that were attending.

I popped into Shreve and co. today for an ogle at what they had and was told, “I have a surprise for you.” Out came the yellow, red, and turquoise 41s. They were already consigned to clients but seeing them in person was amazing. The red is more orangey than in Rolex’s photos. The yellow is darker and less comic bookey in person. Both really beautiful. And the turquoise to me is more the ‘Tiffany’ I keep reading about. Pale blue with a slight greenish tone. All three stunning.

I was further surprised that these 41s looked great on my skinny wrist (I’d decided 40 was the largest I’d go...I have a YM, and Tudor north flag, and a Batman BLNR).

Nice surprise on a Monday evening at union square.

Lovely pieces. Some lucky clients are going to be very happy!

Thanks for sharing! ! I am on the waitlist for the OP41 in silver (actually I was initially for the OP39 in white, but...). There ain't many picture of the OP41 in silver available at the moment to really understand how it looks. At least for me is kind of difficult. Very often the dial does look as golden as the hands. That is strange.

I don't care for any of the new OPs. The turquoise dial is feminine to me but is likely due to my bias / association of that shade of color to Tiffany's

Like the look of the Turquoise and the Silver but OP's not really on my radar, but can see their appeal.

Thanks for the pics. Very much appreciated. I'm really liking the silver OP41 (and, of course, the new Sub ND, lol).
