What do you wear on the golf course?

Just curious what model people are wearing on the golf course?
And what band; bracelet, nato or rubber?

What ever I’m wearing for the day. I tend not to watches for my activities. The watch I pick needs to take what ever I dish out that day. More times than not, that means my 16610 on bracelet.

I’m usually wearing an Apple Watch with SwingU app installed to get my yardage reading.

If I’m wearing a mechanical watch it’s an Explorer II on a rubber strap.

No watch, take it off and in the lined pouch of the golf bag.

There's actually an Omega terra aqua golf edition that I've had my eye on.

I put it in the bag. I figure the vibrations and shocks of swinging a club can’t be good for the watch. My cousin wears his seadweller on a nato though.

I received a Garmin golf watch for Christmas a couple years ago.

It’s fantastic always having a yardage at hand without having to walk off or get a rangefinder.

I’ll never go back!

Normally wear a Garmin S10. This past Saturday I played in a scramble though so didn’t really need it and wore my Explorer

I tend not to wear a watch at all.
I don't wear one when sailing either, or in the gym, or when cycling.

If I'm doing something to relax and get away from the rat race then I prefer not to be tied to the clock. It seems a bit strange to head off to relax but have something on your wrist that keeps reminding you that time is against you.

Garmin S5. I hit the ground too hard and too often. I know Rolexes are supposed to withstand a certain amount of shock, but my sorry swing might just be too much.

Now if I could get my hands on a Bubba Watson RM, on the other hand...

One of the few things I don’t wear a watch for. I’m golfing so I don’t care the time. And I want an even swing, the watch mis-balances it.

Used to wear the Tag golf watch when I was able to play. Until they became unrepairable. Cheap and comfortable. After that, only thing on my left side was a Players Glove. Rolexes had their own lined, zippered pocket to themselves.

There are several other posts on this topic asking same thing. But in reply, I wear whatever Rolex I happen to have on that day. Typically a DD or BLNR. Someone mentioned that they don’t wear a watch as it mis-balances the swing.

If you switch your watch to the opposite wrist (left to right for right handed golfers) it will not affect swing balance.

And wearing a watch while playing helps us everyone to play quickly and keep pace of play in mind.

Sometimes I wear one sometimes I don’t.

Never bought a GPS watch as I prefer a handheld laser and carts have GPS on them.

I’ve found that a watch on a rubber strap is more comfortable to play in versus something on a steel bracelet. Just wore my WG Daytona on Oysterflex this weekend in a tournament and it was as comfortable as wearing my SMP300 on rubber. The added weight made no difference in my ability to hit poor shots haha

Cant wrap my head around a non-PM model over $30k but I really like the Hublot Unico Golf watch.

Sub $10k I would totally get one of those.

The Pelagos or EXP2 are my usual choices.

I'm very lucky as my playing companion wears a golf watch, so that I always know the yardage without having to wear one.

Garmin S60. It's lightweight and at a quick glance, gives you yardage to the green, hazards and distance from your last shot. Only pic I could find...

I don’t wear a watch when I golf. I look at my phone if I need to know what time it is.
