Icon12 Finally a few decent pics

I've wanted this watch since it's original iteration in the 80s. This is what I've ended up with but I'm not complaining! Hope you guys enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Instagram car wrist shot + GMT in it's native environment shot + GMT having fun on the road using it as it's meant to be used shot (not in a safe or a watch winder, but on the road!).

Or it could be described as --> Off to work, at work, after work :) hahaha

HAH! Its a quick goto to stabilise the airplane in that it won't stall or overspeed and when you have every warning going off on the flight deck and half of them contradict then that is a life saver until you can figure out what the heck is going on. If you don't quickly then --> kiss your

[QUOTE=DtownRRS;10955772]Awesome! Congrats! The 80s say hello.....
Beautiful Watch. Just saw a co-worker wearing one he's had since it was new and he had it serviced. Fit him well. He was rocking the old Halliburton metal bag with the stickers and had the quintessential perfectly combed gray hair to boot. He wore it well.

Oh my goodness - I don’t like the sound of warnings contradicting each other!

Me either. It's what the Air France pilots went through off the coast of Brazil when they flew into that thunderstorm. If they would have followed the directions on that yolk the result would have been different. I'm not judging though. God rest their souls.

Thank you. Funny thing I got on the noggin' when I asked if AD's know you flip a watch on this forum(my friend asked me the question who had a Rolex), but I'd never consider selling this bad boy. It is going to the husband of my first daughter who literally turns down every gift my wife and I ever give him because he just thinks its too much. Well, when I'm lying sideways he better not think this watch is too much. He better wear it proudly.

Some of the best pics I have seen. I am always fascinated by airplanes and technology contained within. I am hooked on a tv show called Air Disasters where they investigate accidents and recreate them. And I like seeing the improvements that come out of the investigations. I am in awe of how pilots have to react when things go wrong and make split second decisions when all the bells and alarms are going off. Fly safe my friend and enjoy your new time piece.
