Icon5 Rolex 1603 model question!

I would like to know the manufacturing year of a Rolex model 1603 serial no. 62510 h 18. I received it as a gift and would like to know if it's real or a replica!

Thanks a lot!

Post a photo. 62510H is not the serial number, it's the bracelet model/style number.
The serial number is engraved on the watch case, between the bottom 2 lugs. You have to take off the bracelet to see it.

That is not a genuine rolex, unfortunately it is an immitation, i.e. a fake.

Sorry

Afraid Steve is 100% correct on this one, its not a genuine Rolex :-(

The stamping you see on the outside of the back should be on the inside. this was a common issue with a few earlier counterfeit Rolex watches around the mid 80's.

Other tell tale signs are the band fitting to the case at the lugs and the most common of the 80's the magnification of the cyclops, should be 2.5X, looks like this one has none.

I hope the presenter of the gift was not under the impression this was a genuine :-(

Cheers,

Dave.
