Royal Oak Chrono - rose or yellow gold?

Hey guys, I am looking to add a gold AP to the collection, blue dial.

I have always loved the rose gold version but the yellow gold on blue combo is gorgeous.

What do you guys think? The hunt for a yellow is going to be a lot harder also..

The rose gold looks really really cool in person.

Rose gold 100%. Most will tell you the blue dial looks best, but I actually prefer the brown dial...it's amazing IRL.

I would go rose gold. But either way, nice choice!

AP have fabulous rose gold shade that goes well with their tone of blue dial... much better than yellow gold...

I love YGs with YG dials and eclectic Yves Klein blue...

It's a perpetual not a chrono but nice pics to see colors side by side...

Haven't seen them in person but from Edo's picture I prefer the yellow gold with blue dial over the rose gold with blue dial.

Rose Gold - is perfect for the office and formal occasions.

Yellow Gold - when you want to "flex" , like the young kids say these days .....

Nowadays I think Rose Gold is getting more popular than Yellow Gold.

Black/Chocolate dial would looks better with Rose Gold.

Blue dial can go with either one.

YG is the classic and RG is what is hot. If you have the skin tone to match the RG, I do not, it can be stunning. If you are going to be complete you will need matching RG accessories and that is a more difficult task. Historically RG in the secondary market is a more difficult sale but for an AP maybe not. I would go YG.

Both are really nice. I’d probably go rose but yellow is just as nice.

I'd go yellow, it really pops. Plus you are less likely to see YG RO than RG.

Is either the YG or RG Chronometer Boutique Exclusive,or can any AD order?

I obtained the SS RO Chronometer Blue dial from my non boutique AD,but YG they are not sure is obtainable. And no Boutique in country.

I have tried on both. APs RG is lovely, I think my favorite and I'm not a big RG fan. Their yellow gold is bright, yellow, 70s style if that make sense. It's nice and different, it's more rare and getting harder to find if that matters. I still liked it but would lean more towards the RG and rather get a Rolex YG.
