List a Daytona with No reserve?

Would you do that?

Maybe its real but no feedback for over 6 months and then suddenly you put on a Daytona with no reserve.

I would not be buying it.

Obviously not a TRF member!

No reserve is AOK. I would not buy from a brand new seller.

Messaged the seller:
Dear authentic-items-moneyback,

Z Serial is a 2006, not a 2009. You guarantee authenticity or my money back? Thanks.

Coddger

Seller response:
Dear coddger,

Hi,

thanks.

What bothers me about this is all the pictures are taken in different places (which if I'm selling a watch of this value, I would try to show pictures of the watch in the same area so people know the pictures come from at least the same source, I'll often times also add in my seller name on a handwritten sheet for further verification). Also, one of the pics is from a different watch all together. Another one of the pictures looks like it is a Daytona with a diamond dial, but I can't be certain given the size of the pics.

Good point! Excellent observation Seller hasn't sold anything in the past but has bought $1-2.00 items,Could be a set up OR a hijacked account?

you're right, two different watches, well spotted - - light dial and dark dial and multiple locations, looks a little sus for sure

I subscribe to a news letter from http://www.clockmaker.com.au/, and this is just what came through!! Unbelievable! here is the link to the real Daytona http://clockmaker.com.au/w/k1234.html

** Dumb and Dumber

OK you don't need to be an eBay whiz to work out this fraud.
A dumb wannabe-con artist (apparently from Sydney!)
ripped off photos of our black dial Daytona K1234
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=260400198991
The seller is so dumb that in his listing, he also included one photo of
a white dial Daytona!
So if you think that no one in his right mind would bid on it,
think twice- there is already a pile of not less than EIGHT dumber bidders,
fighting for a 'bargain'. Four days to go...
Thanks to Frank A for bringing this to our attention.

And if you think this could be a one-off incident then you are wrong again.
Our server log shows that this month alone in 68
cases, photos from our server were directly linked to listings on amazon, ioffer,
ebay and chrono24. That is, sixty-eight sellers who are too lazy to even
copy our photos - so they are linking directly to our server!
