For the 40th anniversary, when did AP start putting “Royal Oak” logo on the case back of the watch? My I-Series Jumbo does not have this.

J series from 2016... but that's not the change that bothers... the one that's not right, in terms of history and legacy to Genta design, is the change from 2017 when they start to use dual block instead of monoblock case... don't exactly know the serial that started and if it's at first applied on all materials (RG, YG, Ti/Pt)

Another interesting change I have noticed that I haven't seen anybody talk about is the removal of the engraved symbol on the movement balance bridge (shown in image below - I can't get image to work here but you can see it at the link), which seems to me to have been done around the same time as the move away from monobloc. I'm not an expert on movements / finishing - anyone know what this engraving means and why it would disappear? https://watchesbysjx.com/2012/06/on-...#!&gid=1&pid=5 Last edited by charlie2888; 3 December 2020 at 07:59 AM..
