28 mm Datejust dial with coronet next to Swiss made

Hi,

Does anyone know if the 28 mm lady datejust from 2020 with two coronets ( next to Swiss made ) indicates an update of the design or lugs ?

I have tried on the 28 mm Lady datejust with dial only Swiss made ( no coronet ) at an AD and had the impression the case was bulkier /thicker .

No, it does not indicate an update of the design. It just indicates that it's newer than older watches. What could have happened is that no coronet dial watch was an older reference number. And ladies models can stay at ADs and/or greys for years, but if it was the same reference (say 279174), it's the same.

Hi ,

Thank you very much for the answer.
Yes is the same reference number the AD says, but dial without coronet next to Swiss made.
So was hesitating to buy from the AD.

The other AD which had the 28mm datejust newer dial with cornonet logo didnt had the watch I wanted and so I couldn’t compare side by side if there was difference in design or less bulkier case.

Welcome to the forum. I think there may be some confusion here.

The new Lady Datejust for 2020 is a 31mm watch and has a single coronet between the words SWISS & MADE link in the photo below.

The 28mm Lady Datejust has no coronet at that spot in the dial.

However, the answer you got is true - the case of the watch hasn’t changed recently for the 28mm DJ.

I believe the watch case has changed a bit on the 2020 31mm datejust, a little slimmer design.
