Brand New GMT Two-tone RG OR all YG Daytona(blk dial) Oysterflex.

Happy to presented with the option, just wondering if I’m missing a perspective about “better buy”. Not a flip but an heirloom piece.

In some models a two tone doesn’t appeal to me but the gmt two tone does, actually more so than the all RG Gmt. There’s an everyday wearing aspect to that as well. Too much PM isn’t like my sea dweller.

The Daytona, while beautiful, bothers me in the fact that’s it’s not ALL metal and stil cost that much. Ironically, I know that for me the rubber bands are MUCH more comfortable....yeah yeah I know.

It all depends on your profile and age. YG just doesn't fit me. I own a rootbeer FYI

I like the GMT between the two.

Killer pairing IMHO is root beer plus WG OF for a two watch collection.

They are different price brackets. The gold Daytona is at least $15k above the price of the TT CHNR

Went with the GMT(sadly I found out they had a YG green dial Daytona in 2 mo ago!). The two tone matches my style. I had a chance to get full RG but the twotone gives we a “daily wearability” that fits my life/style better, at this point. Thanks for all the opinions.

It depends. If you'll actually use the Daytona's chronograph functions and don't care about seeing the date or a second time zone at a glance, then get the Daytona.

If the two time zone and date complications are useful and you don't care about the chronograph functions get the GMT.

If you don't care about any of the complications but think the Daytona's sub dials look cool, or if you think the GMT's 24 hour hand and 24 hour bezel look cool (in other words, it's about aesthetic appeal rather than functionality) get the one that's most attractive to you.

I would add a 10% on top of the budget for the Oysterflex YG Daytona to get a TT Daytona black dial + the GMT Root Beer.

Congrats! I own both (sort of) - I have the 519LN and the CHNR. If I had to choose, I’d choose the Daytona but they’re very different and at very different price points. Both great!
