And it happened! INCOMING
I love reading some of the incoming stories so here is mine,
( While waiting in the delivery room for my son to be born 11/20/20 ) I reached out to a few AD’s I’ve become friends with to ask if they had anything heavy on intriguing. Definitely a new angle to justify getting a New watch. One responded that they had a President in case and another AD had a two tone sea dweller.... About a week later I get a email saying he had something special, it was allocated and the person couldn’t make it happen at this time. It was mine if I wanted it and he would send a link of the watch soon. I was worthless the rest of the day wondering what it might be? I couldn’t stand it- but several hours later he sends the link and 10 days after my son is born I walked out of the AD with this piece “for him” 116518LN - never in a million years would I have guessed this be the watch! I truly have no business owning but I do love it and very grateful for the opportunity to buy it. Ironically- and thankfully my wife loves it too and will wear it! Unpopular opinion, not a huge fan of the Daytona......
But this colorway with the rubber strap makes it look so awesome. Congrats!!!

Someday my two sons will inherit some pretty great Rolex watches but they will lose their minds over my 3 Daytona’s. All I can say to the OP is, congratulations on your new son and his future heirloom Daytona!!!
