How about a trade.......
OK I still cannot find the paperwork but I know the watch is authentic.
SO I will stand by it. Who wants to trade me a white dial Exp II with solid end links for my black bezeled GMT II hole through case which will come with the stock jubilee bracelet and the OEM SEL oyster bracelet I purchased off the bay for it. ? Any takers? JL |

Read slowly and carefully. He's talking about the bracelet, not the watch.

I'll have to side with Gedanken on this one... after reading it again, the item purchased off e-bay was the OEM bracelet.

Aww, poor widdle bubsy ran out of big words to use? Musta touched a nerve there.
Okay, take a deep breath, find a nice quiet place to concentrate, read s-l-o-w-l-y, and don't be afraid to call Mommy to help you with the big words. Quote:

I have a degree in History and I teach highschool students far more mature than you Gedanken.
Your blue collar sense of humour, while distracting, is not uncommon and certainly unoriginal. All I wanted were pictures of a Rolex explorer. Your vitriolic criticisms aren't appreciated nor warranted. |

If you wanted a pic of the Explorer, why didn't you ask real nice in the first place? For a Professor of History, you've shown a lot of immaturity in your posts...and some of them like you've been trying to deliberately instigate the nice guys and mods on this forum. You really need to change your act, but I doubt that will happen. Why don't you just ban yourself and save these guys the trouble? It's so obvious that you are not going to fit in with the rest of us....so I think you should move on!! Here's a suggestion: PM me and I'll give you the name and contact link of the other forum. There's a whole bunch of pompous, arrogant MODS and a few sons-of-bitches there who would welcome your type with open arms!!

Little man, I hate to break your heart, but PUH-lease don't expect your itty-bitty little imagined qualification to impress someone who's got a doctorate and spent his postgrad years tutoring people with basic degrees and eliminating their illusions of self-worth before leading them to real knowledge. I have to admit I'm surprised that you teach high school students. I've met preschool and primary school teachers who who tend to absorb their working environments and talk to adults like they do to their kids, but you would think that high school teachers would have grown out of that by now. That said, you strike me as one of the sort who goes in to the class thinking, "Finally! I'm not the smallest in the room anymore!", and proceeds on a Quixotic mission to get back at the bullies of his childhood by becoming one himself. You are remarkably perceptive about the blue-collar image, I'll give you that. You see, I suppose in your microcosm, using big words would give you a real wow factor - I'll bet 14-year-old girls think you're real clever. On the other hand, when I'm dealing with CEOs and execs - your betters - taking your approach would just look silly. I've got a rep as being one of the straightest shooters in my field, and if someone wants the unvarnished truth in plain English with no jargon to obscure the facts, they come to yours truly. My vitriol must be pretty popular because there's no shortage of people seeking to pay a couple of hundred grand for it. You see, the difference between you and me is that you require a captive audience - after all, your students don't have much say in which class they're shunted to. On the other hand, my clients come to me, blue-collar unoriginality and all. And of course the humour is common and unoriginal - is your fragile ego so far out of whack that you imagine yourself worth the effort of orignality? By the way, if, as you claim, all you want are pictures of an Explorer, why are you posting in a thread about a GMT? Now, go get Mommy to help you read the above, and then thank me for imparting some more common sense to you.

Hey James,
I've always admired your penchant for the English language. Boy, when you go into them....you really GO into them, don't you?
