Anyone with a Super Jubilee fitted to their 16710?

Thinking to pick up a super jubilee 63600 for my 16710.

Can anyone who has one fitted to theirs tell me whether the watch wears more "solid" and centred on the wrist than with the 62510 jubilee?

Trying on a friend's GMT with a 62510 jubilee fitted, I found it too light and this causes the watch to wear top heavy and often times, lopsided on the wrist.

Not my picture, but hope this helps to illustrate my point

Was wondering if the solid links help to keep the watch more centred.

I have my 16710 on a super jubilee and I like the way it wears. Makes the watch feel more substantial. I can only compare it to the oyster the watch on.

Yeah, Super Jub is a very nice and solid fit for the 16710 much more so than the 62510h which is light and flimsy in comparison. IMO that is.

Yes, I dislike how the 62510 feels flimsy on the wrist, although being so light I can imagine it to be super comfy.

Yes, I posted about this here.

I wanted the Super Jubilee more for the look and not because of any comfort issues. I have other Rolex watches with Oyster bracelets and was starting to find that look monotonous. I thought about getting a 65210H but liked the 63600 a bit more.

Not sure if your 16710 has lug holes. Mine does. The major challenge for me was finding the right springbars. You can't just re-use the springbars from the Oyster bracelet because they're slightly too thick to fit through the Super Jubilee bracelet (2.0mm diameter vs. 1.8mm diameter). Of course, I needed shoulderless springbars because my 16710 case has lug holes, and I wanted springbars with fat ends to fit correctly (to completely fill the lug holes in the case so that there's no play in the endlinks). After several failed efforts, I finally found ONE (really wonderful) seller in the US who had the right springbars that fit perfectly. They are shoulderless, 20mm long, 1.78mm thick diameter, with 1.2mm diameter (fat) end tips that extend 2.8mm outwards from the center tube. Unfortunately I think that seller is no longer in business (Terry from toxicnatos).

You can also buy 1-1/4 links for the 63600 bracelet, to get a better fit (Rolex part # B32-23065-D1, $65 USD retail). And the bracelet screws for the 63600 are Rolex part # B32-23077-D5, $15.75 for a pack of 5 was the AD price last year (2020). Grey-market prices for these will be much higher.

Attached are some pics.

In my experience the super jubilee & classic jubilee feel very similar while worn. The SJ does feel more substantial when held.

When I see a 16710 without a clasp I think it looks like a fake.
