I wouldn' t go near the Eel, or whatever it is called ! It cuts off your fingers in no time !!

This is a baby, but wait until you see the mama !!

When I meet them during my fishing dives I....................run away !

They are very tasteful but you need great experience and steady hand to catch them !!!!

I had a few in the past when I was fearless, but after one that nearly got me, NO MORE !!!

Cool pics- Some time ago I kept a spotted moray eel in a large aquarium. He (I guess it was a he?) became very tame and knew when it was feeding time. Well, lets just say it was a Pavlov's eel type thing- every time I walked through the room he thought it was time for food and would come out of his hiding spot and wait to be fed.

When I was a kid, I was always really fascinated by moray eels. Look at those teeth though, he looks ready to F you up.

I did have a youtube video where a guy was feeding a Green Moray Eel and ended-up losing his thumb

They took off his big toe as a replacement thumb. The video ends with him playing video games. He looked rather pleased with the replacement thumb.

If you look really close, the front of the critter is his mouth, and you can see one eye. His tail is pressed up against the coral in the back.

Canon G10 camera (14.7mp) with a canon underwater housing that is water resistant to 130ft. No external flash.
