New owner of a TT Sub 16613!
I want to show off and check with you Gents what you make of a fairly recent purchase. I won't say where I bought for now, but I bought it only by pictures I saw online. Whilst I love the extended gold bracelet / clasp of the later models and the bolder dimensions, I am a bit of an 80s / 90s nostalgia junkie. This in mind, I had to go classic.
I'm extremely pleased with it, just hoping for more sunshine to show off that blue dial! Anyway, here is what I presume / know: - Sold new in early / mid 1996..hence "T3---" serial number - Bracelet is marked "S" so if original I am guessing it is a very late 1994? - Bracelet has links near the bezel that appear to fold (if you see what I mean), exclusive to the earlier models - Bracelet has the tiniest of warping in the gold (resurfaced?) - Has receipts for repair dating 2009 and this year (serviced twice in its life?) - Original box and tags (so I am led to believe) - Weighs ~140g I have cleaned up some small localised areas with Zeiss wipes which I thought were marks e.g. to the bezel and turned out it was just dirt. Any indications to the authenticity of this watch welcome etc. Thanks in advance. PS: I am testing the standard image uploader for now. - |

Lug holes, non SEL, stamped clasp. All excellent vintage feel.
Congrats on a great watch. |

I think that's a sharp looking watch, or perhaps your photos are overly seductive. Either way, I hope you enjoy the wearing experience!

Thanks all. I think I musta chosen a good one. My dream watch also is a Daytona. I hear that all steel ones are more in vogue at the moment but I couldn't resist a bluesy. Nearly went for the black and gold version mind you.
