I got lucky! Incoming
 I feel extremely fortunate to have gotten the call for this classic. I met a super SA at a great AD about a year and a half ago. We hit it off and I told him the White Daytona was my grail and if by any chance I could get on their list I’d certainly appreciate it. In the meantime I picked up a DJ31 for my wife from them and was told at some point I’d get a Daytona. I kept in touch but never pestered my SA. He’s a man of his word and the AD is top notch. Congrats! Everyone seems to think that only money talks, but I really do think it’s possible to get a Daytona with a little bit of patience, persistence and a demonstrable love of watches. Glad it worked out.
