I am biased :)
The dial is superb!!! Changes hue and how deep the color is in many lights. Otherwise get the RG Choco with Baguettes |

both beautiful watches no doubt.
really just comes down to your preference of metal. Rose gold never looks right on my for some reason. |

I prefer the romans but I wonder if the baguettes are easier to read the time?
The RG Choc Romans is my grail watch but again I do hear complaints that it is difficult to read in lower light situations |

I tried on the Olive RG, Chocolate RG, and the YG Baguette Black yesterday at the grey market; the RG color looked almost disgusting on my 'olive' colored skin (Middle Eastern skin color). So it looks like the YG DD40 is going to be the cop.
Currently, the YG DDs are selling for pretty much MSRP at the grey market; I can purchase one now or wait for my AD to call me. The issue is, I'm a bit worried about future price increases or the AD no longer discounting gold watches; accounting to how popular PM watches are becoming. What would you guys advise to do? The advantage of buying from the AD is the purchase history building. The AD already informed me that the order has been placed for both watches and approved on the system, it's just a matter of waiting for the shipment to come in (they have no estimation on this). |

Just get it. I would be jumping on a YG DD40 at MSRP no problems these days considering how hot the market is.
Look how quickly the RG went up due to market hype. YG is picking up from what I'm seeing and you never know with social media as soon as something catches on it starts to fly immediately. YG maybe become hotter than RG in the near future. I honestly like Rolex YG ALOT more than Rolex RG to be honest. Rolex RG is way too copperish and a little feminine for me anyway. |

Yellow gold looks better with my skin complexion than the Rolex Everose gold does, so yellow gold for me.

That's what I felt too when I tried on the RG, both the chocolate and the olive didn't really do anything for me. The YG however, a different story. Do you think there's a possibility they stop discounting these pieces from the store? That's the only thing stopping me from waiting. |

Yellow gold every time
I really don’t like rose gold at all, to me it’s feminine and should never be on a mans watch |

The YG is, of course, the most recognizable and iconic DD. I also think it looks great in a case. As others have mentioned, though, it has to be a good fit for you. For me, it is not. It just doesn't work with my skin tone, so of the two, I own RG. From there, I actually like the contrast of the baguette markers over the deconstructed Romans.

I'd go with RG and did but I have the olive dial. Chocolate was a close 2nd.

I would have said the RG with the Romans. But the YG with the baguettes is pretty stunning.
