Just need a bit of education on this one.

Is it the hour markers and font on this dial?

Heres a pic of a legit new YM

Hmmm... I gotta tell ya that's one fine fake if it is indeed one. Perhaps just bad lighting?

To me, the gold bordering hour markers are too thick? I hope that makes sense; I don't know if you understand what I mean. I also think the font just doesn't look right, but this is just my opinion.

Then again, this is supposed to be a mid-size...

Maybe it's just me ....but that crown doesn't look right to me either.

Could it just be the light? The angle? Need some help on this one guys...

I see several things that cause me concern and make me lose sleep at night.

1. The dial printing of the word Rolex and Oyster Perpetual Date look very dark and thick on the watch in question.

2. The crown does not look right.

3. There is no evidence of any security engraving inside the CRB that says Rolex on the watch in question.

4. The numbers on the bezel run right to the very edge on the watch in question where the other watch has some space.

5. The edges of the bezel look like they are sharp points instead of a squared off look like the other watch. The bezel looks like it was polished down to nubbins for an edge.

6. The hour markers are too thick.

7. The space in between the lugs shows gapping where the band fits in to the watch.

8. The lugs look over polished as does the bezel for a watch that was supposedly only worn 5 times.

9. "Comes with Roelx gift box ($199 value) for free!" Say What?

10. $2,000 bidding price currently with no reserve?

11. Claims it has the warranty. Where is it in the sale?

I am sorry guys but my crap detector is going off in high gear.

Any other comments?

Terry Newton

Hi Terry, I am new here but I can already see who the experts are...you have a fine eye for detail my friend. You even pointed out some things that I hadn't noticed. I applaud you buddy

That being said.....Should we send this one off to the can?

Look at "swiss made" on the dials, BIG difference!

Between the minute markers and on top!
