This is a good question that's asked every year after releases. It would be great if someone could gather some data from previous years to give a solid answer

Tudor's are already hitting the stores, I picked up my Chrono yesterday. Rolex can't be that far behind.

If you’re in a major European city I would be they will start hitting ADs in the next two weeks. Major U.S. cities will probably start seeing them in 3 weeks. I think that was the timeline for the releases in 2020

When will the new releases hit the AD's?

Couple of our Tudor ADs had them on hand the day after the release. Although I’m not a VIP, nor received an invite, others have been invited for a Rolex release on May 5th at our local boutique. I did not take these pictures, but were shared on our local forum.

Sent from the Waitlist at 6 different ADs

In 2019, the last “normal” release year, first ones posted here were from the UK in May. US dealers started getting them a couple weeks later in early June.

2020 was an exception for Rolex due to Covid-19 and delayed announcement. Previous years it has taken well into the summer for the Baselworld announcements to show up, but I suppose it's anybody's guess if things have changed moving forward post-Baselworld.

Tudor is a different story- the newly announced pieces are available now.

When will the new watches hit your AD, or when will your AD let you buy them? Those questions may have very different answers.

When I got the Batgirl and Pepsi after they was first released it was early May , I think I received a WhatsApp message a couple of days before telling me it had arrived but they wasn't allowed to sell me it until the 1st of May.
Gold models usually come later , I had to wait until October ,November time for the new Rose Gold GMT

+1

In London, ADs continue to sell through their client list. It is unlikely anything new of demand will make it to the displays. The perceived FOMO is evermore heightened with the booking to view process implementation. The scarcity driver is elevated as a result. As with the past five years, you are more than welcome to "register your interest".

The laughter continues...

VIPs will get them late May onwards I’d say.
Regular Joe won’t see them for a long time
