That's a really beautiful watch. And something really cool about "finding" any NOS pieces just lingering in a showroom.

And thus begins the quest on here for everyone to try and get their AD to order a green DD36 dial for DD36 on bracelet. Let the hunt begin!

Unfortunately, doubt that'll ever happen. OysterFlex, maybe. But seems that Rolex is done with leather on Oyster models (at least for now).

How much was this if you don't mind sharing.

I thought these were 14-16k new. I wonder if they kept the old price.

I really hope they bring back the DD on leather. 36 or 40 would work.

I looked after seeing this thread, and think they were closer to low-to-mid-20s. Perhaps you're thinking of the similarly configured DJ36 of the same era?

I'm not going to put money on it but I'm positive these could be had (new) for 16k euro. The regular DD36 had a list price of 25-29k euro new and could be had for 20-24k euro back when they gave 20-30 percent discounts. So the ones with a leather bracelet were below those models.

This brown 2014 model sold for 13.5k uk pound.

https://www.swisswatchshop.co.uk/pro...chocolate-dial

And another one which sold for 14.995 UK pound.

RRP 17.5k according to Xupes

I think we’re talking different currencies. I was talking USD and getting retail prices from here (notice also how the “green obsession” has been priced in):

It is. And while the other variants price a grand below MSRP, this one weighs in at ten over. I guess green is the new blue…

At that price ($34995 for leather strap), it will be very hard to sell.

Most people would rather get full bracelet for new model (128238) at $36k+).

Totally. I have a feeling that someone saw the "green frenzy" and wanted to try and capitalize on it. With the RG/olive DD40, Daytona YG/green, Hulk/Cermit (to say nothing of the non-Rolex offerings from AP, PP and Piaget), I can see the appeal of trying to sell green for top dollar.
