DJ36 TT fluted dial

I finally saw it in the metal. I prefer the simple champagne dial. Here it is next to a DJ41. Sorry for the bad pic.

Wow! That is just too much going on, with the TT Jubilee & the fluted dial & YG fluted bezel!

I absolutely love the blue fluted dial on the SS/WG DJ w/fluted bezel & Jubilee, but this set-up is just too busy for my taste.

That watch actually looks great on the Rolex website. But in the metal, as stated above, there's just too much going on!

I like it but would probably go with the classic smooth dial.

Tough to really tell from that picture. It looks interesting but perhaps messes with the legibility

I saw some pictures online and they looked far less dramatic. I'll try to find some and post them here.

I think it's just the photo that makes it look too busy. The YG TT DJ41 fluted champagne is a beautiful watch on the wrist.

These are not my pics nor my watch(es). I found them online and wanted to use these to show the difference light can make.

Looks too busy to me. I expressed interest in the blue fluted dial when announced, will probably pass if I get the call and try it on, unless it looks amazing in real life. I think I prefer smooth dial.

I actually like the look of the fluted dial in that picture.

I think the most important aspect of a watch is legibility, and while the dial is nice looking, I'm not sure the legibility is there.
