Pam25

What do you guys think of this one? I came across one today. I missed getting a 312 by a few hours the other day. I am getting my first Panerai. Would this be a good starter? Would this watch be considered rare? Thanks in advance!

Ti Sub with hobnail dail? That's one of my list to get in future! Sorry to hear that you missed 312 by hours. Mind you that 312 has more production numbers than 25 and you could wait for a while if you REALLY want 312 instead 25. Do not consider the rarity factor in your buying decisions. Buy what sings for you not forced into!

The 25 is a nice choice cant go wrong with the Sub, Rare no the production run of the 25 is quite large, but indeed should this really matter if the watch smiles at you >??

i love the 25.. it was my first choice on the first watch and it slipped through my fingers i got the ARKTOS instead which is a limited edition 2004 with compass bazel.. if you like the 25 and want a limited watch that would appreciate try the Pam199 same look as 25 (stainless steel though, not titanium) anly limited to 500 issued in 2004. a friend of mine got hold of one on ebay for 8000usd last month.

I am in HK now and the price I was given is 6600USD plus one croc strap for the 25. The salesman is giving 5% off HK prices which is lower than US prices. Seems like a good deal. I really like the watch, but I think for my first PAM, I am going to get one that is more versatile like the 312. Of course, like everyone else, I really love the 233 but it is just too expensive for me right now. Well, I have two more days to decide.

The 292 like in the US is impossible to find here. Any recommendatoin on AD's here in HK?

I really like the 25, but in the end I preferred a little bit of polished steel, which the 25 doesn't have. I went with an H serial 24...which I'm actually selling right now. It has zero to do with the watch - I'm completely in love. I've had a lot of personal things happen all at once and I need to free up some cash. I have no doubt that I'll have another sooner than later...

Stunning combo! What kind of strap is it?
I like the look of L dial better than T's.
I have a 25D but would love a 25 with an L dial.

Yup OEM JV. It gets nicer when it gets worn more.

My Ti 177 has held up very well. There are repair pens for ti that I have heard work well if scratched. I have never had to use one. Cape Cod one time and it kept looking pretty good! I think you will like it....

That was one my favorites initially. I do like the 24 better now (brushed/polished.)
