WTT black/tan Panerai strap for black/white
I bought this Molina historic strap new in June and the tan stitch isn't working for me. I'd like to trade it for a strap of similar quality, black with WHITE stitch.
My Molina strap is 24mm X 24mm, and 120mm X 75mm of thick black calf with tan stitch. Because it's a 'historic' it has a bit of patina to the leather. The strap has been worn 10-12 times (as in 10-12 full days) so it has a curve to it and a crease. The second and third tang holes (all of which are round) have been enlarged a tad to accomodate the rectangular tang I wear it on. So if you have a thick black calf with white stitch strap, same dimentions as above, and you want a straight trade for this one, PM me here or email me at [email protected] Pic of it when new: And taken on Monday evening: |

Just a friendly word of advice, Johnny. I can understand and appreciate your love for Panerai. So why not truly glamourise that watch with a nice Ti/SS bracelet...similar to the one recently posted by Daren.
That bracelet is oh so cool, it will add to the beauty of your watch. Just a thought - JJ

They basically divide their watches into three categories: Historic, Contemporary and Special Editions. My 01B falls into the historic category. As I learn more about the brand, I find I want the watch to look as historic as possible. Panerai didn't come out with a bracelet on their watches until well into their sale to the public (since they had only been available to military personnel until 1997 with a brief public sale in 1993 to test the waters, likely). SO, IMHO it would be inappropriate to put a bracelet on a historic Panerai. I'm not saying other people shouldn't but I won't cuz it wouldn't look right to me. Straps are where it's at. BTW, my strap is gone and a replacement is coming. Thanks! |

Thanks Ed, I arranged a trade with a paneristi from Darens neck of the woods who, as it turns out, is an ex-pat Canadian. First time doing a swap with a stranger, so my strap is in the post and I hope the replacement arrives without issue. For the record, I got the smokingest deal of the week.
