Original Root Beer — Bezel Question

I’m lucky enough to have the original GMT Master Root Beer, but have been considering swapping the bezel out. As backstory, this piece originally came with the two-tone bezel, but the bezel was swapped out years ago during a service and has remained single-color ever since.

First picture is what it looks like now; second picture is the alternative (and original bezel).

Curious what other members think looks better on this reference? Thanks in advance!

I'm biased, but it's hard to beat this for my tastes...

I dig the two-tone bezel, makes it such a unique look.

Been there done that. Mine too had the brown bezel originally or maybe not originally can't get a straight answer from my Dad who purchased it originally, hahahah. The all brown is for the 1675/8 all gold version. My bezel (gold ring) was damaged from the day I received it and the insert was just glued in. I recently had it serviced by Phillip Ridley, who BTW sourced a period correct bezel ring. It looked so good I thought I might get the "correct" half and half bezel insert too. I got one from the RSC here in LA. They do not have the period correct version in stock any more for the 1675/3 but they did have the one from a 16753 reference, like yours (at least I think like yours. Looks like the next iteration 16750 series, not the 1675 series), also with the acrylic crystal. Keep your old one, which I did, and get another. You can always switch it out. Looks great BTW, it is a beautiful watch! I'm biased too…

Edit: you would definitely get more relies in the vintage section.
