116710LN Question
When was 116710LN discontinued? Looking for NOS BNIB/unworn. Can’t get excited about colored bezels.

a couple years now. It'd be difficult to find a NOS. DO you want to wear it or stick it in a safe?

Here's a NOS but it has an engraving on the case-back. No big deal IMO.

I believe it was discontinued in early 2018.
I have a fully stickered NOS but they’re hard to come by. I’ll peel those stickers off and wear it one of these days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

it's a great watch! Are you planning to wear it? If so, I'd recommend not paying the premium for a NOS version.

Bought mine Xmas Eve 2015 and been wearing pretty much every day since.
I did change the bracelet to a sub bracelet because I preferred the brushed look, and mine gets the odd knock and ding probably more than most because I do wear it in the flight deck most days. It’s holding up well, still super accurate and way more robust than the 16710 Pepsi which was retired as soon as I bought the LN. To my mind, the LN is one of, if not the best tool watch Rolex ever made. Put it to good use. |

The SS and the TT are 2 of my all time favorites.
Should have gotten one new at a discount when I had the chance. |

So as long as the condition is excellent, why does it have to be NOS/BNIB? Just go to watch recon, type in 116710LN and take your pick. There's probably at least 10 for sale right now.

Early 2019 as stated above. If you Google "116710LN discontinued" you should be able to find multiple watch press announcements to corroborate the date.
NOS will be tough but should be plenty of close to mint 2019 dated watches to buy. I picked one up in the UK earlier this year. Good luck Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk

I have plenty of watches I rotate through. I just choose to enjoy this one as it is. Brand new/unworn

It is a nice understated model, I remember thinking about getting one a few years ago when they were readily available but didn't pull the trigger. Now I am waiting for my AD to offer me a current GMT but lots of patience required. They are considerably less pricey grey and one of the few models where that might be palatable to me, alongside Exp. 2...

OCD, I guess. I only buy new trucks, shotguns and watches. Plus if the cost is close to twice retail because I don’t like colored bezels, I want an unworn watch with B&P.

My AD had a NOS LN last spring, offered it to me a list price, best move I have made. It has always been a favorite of mine. If you can find one they are pricey now, over $13,000, good luck.

I just picked up an LN from a buddy. What a great watch. I prefer the proportions of the GMT over the ceramic Subs of which I’ve had a few. I am still not into the PCL, but I don’t want to spend $3000 on a Sub bracelet either.

If you do, please share photos. I saw someone had done it a while ago and recall it looking good.

I bought my 2008model used in 2019 for $8000 no tax, was serviced at RSC one year later. Now the price on that watch is sky rocketing

It was Baselworld 2019... or at least that's when the watch press were told. :)

Yes you’re absolutely right. Reason I say I’d is that I got a 114060 in feb and it was that or the gmt. Gmt was discontinued a week later and price shot up. But my memory is all Over the place Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I bought my stickered and unworn safe queen in late 2020 from a TRF seller. Could't be happier. See my profile pic <-
