Hungry?

This is the 20 pound Beer Belly Buster from a US restaurant that actually serves it. It appeared in a newspaper article here today. I can only say: morituri te salutant

If the overall weight is 20 pounds as you stated in your OP, then that's a whopping NINE kilos!!

Well - you know us... Biggie-size this, Super-size that... Only in US is there a market for Hummers - bigger is better. But now we have a serious obesity issue here, people are having premature heart attacks... This is unfortunate. And the OP subject - is absolutely ridiculous, why would anyone want that?! Yesterday I was in a car wash, awaiting for my car to get ready, and there was a father with a little boy, maybe 2 years old. The father goes to the vending machine, gets a can of Sprite and pours it in the little boy's sippie-cup. I just wanted to say something, but it is not my place. I must admit, things are improving here, but we still have a far way to go.

Saw the same thing in a mall food court. A big sow with three chins and all the super-sized greasy spoon belt-feeding french fries into her daughter - even as she was trying to tell her behemoth of a mom that she was full. It's gotta stop.

You're right jj that is a disgusting looking food item!!

I imagine this is a marketing image. The obesity epidemic here in the USA is caused by things a little more insidious than this monster. High fat snacks, high corn syrup soda, high calorie lattes etc., For example it's virtually impossible in a regular supermarket to buy cereal not full of sugar, salt etc.,
Bon apetit!

I love to eat, but something that big just does not seem appetizing.

I agree with JJ, that monstrosity is gross and disgusting. But we Americans just love our junk food. That's why the grocery stores have an isle of soda pop and one for junk/snack foods. All you have to do is look at the children being overfed and with no exercise to look at future heart attacks in the making!!!
