Pepsi owners...need some fashion help.
I know pretty much every Rolex watch other than the Cellini is considered an all-arounder. However, with my black daytona and black sub I feel like they blend in with everything. With the Pepsi I'm not so sure. Admittedly, I'm not the most fashion saavy guy, so I could use some help.
1. The red/blue bezel seems pretty casual, but then the jubilee seems dressy. Do you typically wear it with more dressy or more casual outfits? 2. Do you color coordinate your watch with your clothes? I've never in my life thought about this with my two all-black watches. Any colors you think the Pepsi looks best with? |

It doesn’t wear me.

I wear my Pepsi jubilee and oyster with both dressy and causal clothes.
I do not coordinate my clothes to my watch.

1. Everything.
2. No. Mine is on Oyster. Each to our own. I concur with Eddie above. I wear the watch, not vice versa. If you feel that the watch is somehow a clash, it is. If you think the watch looks good and wears well, it does. What other people think is of no consequence. |

I have the 16710 Pepsi and sure I can and do wear it with everything but I have a good sized collection and enjoy deciding what watch works best with what I am wearing.
I don't really understand this, "I wear the watch the watch doesn't wear me". Obviously but it's fun to consider the watch with the clothing and not based necessarily on color as well. Again, sure most any watch I have can be worn with most anything other than perhaps black tie or business suits.

You’re way overthinking this...

None of those watches is remotely dressy. Perhaps business appropriate at best. Unfortunately nobody really seems to care about such things anymore.
I do colour coordinate some watches, but you're right that it's not an issue with less colourful watches. Never had an issue with my Pepsi clashing, but orange dial divers can be trickier...

I do occasionally color coordinate my watches to some degree. For example, if I’m wearing a blue shirt to work, I might decide to pair it with my blue dial Seamaster. However, generally speaking, I wear all my watches with anything.
The bigger question for me is something that’s debated ad Infinitum on these watch forums. Do I need a dress watch or not? I might have an opportunity to acquire a BLRO too, but right now, I have nothing but sport watches in my current collection. I don’t have a pure dress watch, and quite frankly, I just don’t want to spend a lot of money on something just to check off a box. I just wouldn’t wear it that much. I think the overwhelming majority of people don’t care either way if you wear a sport watch with your suit, but there will always be that guy or gal that says otherwise. The same people that also think you have to wear light colors in spring and dark colors at fall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Good to know that I'm not the only one that doesn't coordinate my clothes with my watch. I have too many watches in my rotation that need wrist time, and adding your wardrobe coordination will just over complicate things.

I would not wear a Pepsi, Batman or Hulk with a suit but that's just me.

If the opportunity presents itself…..ex: I put on a red or blue shirt…why not grab the red/blue bezel watch? Do I try and color coordinate….no, but if I can….why not.
But to be specific to your question….I’d actually wear the Pepsi with almost anything |

Pepsi goes well with everything IMHO. Works in every occasion to me. Looks more subtle on the wrist than it does in TRF wrist shots. I do wear a lot of blue so that is nice.

The aluminium bezels are much classier and less blingy. I think that, with the smaller case, does make the watch more versatile..

These threads are always funny/interesting. I try to not wear my oyster flex watch with a suit or anything remotely dressy. Coordinating watch colors to outfits is way to complex for me.

Sartorial rules for men:
1) don't wear black and brown together 2) don't wear green and blue together 3) match your leathers 4) don't match your top to your shoes 5) socks should be same color as pants, but a shade darker And that's it. Everything else is allowed. Men have it easy when it comes to style. So to answer your question: wear your Pepsi with anything and everything. |

One reason I got rid of my hulk is because it didn't go with anything.
I think a black face Pepsi will work with most shirts. When it doesn't, wear the sub.

From 5+ feet away the colors look very dark, particularly if under indoor office lighting. Outside in full sunny weather the Cerachrom is bright but more often it is more subdued. The aluminum Pepsi is much more vibrant, so even indoors and in an office work environment it is brighter… for those considered with such things, it may stand out more while wearing a suit. |
